Vista IT Group is pleased to announce its new relationship with Nutanix as an Authorized Global System Integrator (GSI). The Nutanix platform enables organizations to build, operate, and manage multi-cloud architectures at any scale. This is achieved through the Enterprise Cloud OS software’s ability to combine private, public, and distributed cloud environments, providing a single point of management for IT infrastructure and applications.
Vista IT Group has been selected by the State of Michigan to be among a handful of companies to receive Skilled Trades Trading Funds (STTF), which is presented by West Michigan Works!. The purpose of the grant is to assist companies with the training, development and continuing education for employees and to provide strategic investments into growth oriented Michigan based companies. Vista is honored to be one the just over 200 companies awarded the STTF grant from West Michigan’s seven-county region.
In a matter of just three short weeks, the Vista family was able to collect more than 150 toys for the U.S Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Drive. Our goal was to collect 50 toys. It’s safe to say we’ll have to set our sights a bit higher in 2018! Thank you everyone who helped make an impact in the lives of those in need.

We are happy to announce the recent hiring of three new team members joining the Vista IT Group team. These members include Cory Codere, Jake Hoffman, and Jenna Olm.
Cory joins the logistics team as a Receiving Specialist where he shares the responsibility of managing the flow of high value technology assets throughout our inventory tracking system. Before coming to Vista, Cory spent eight years living in Orlando, FL where we held various positions within the recreational golf industry.
Vista IT Group is proud to announce that we will be hosting a Toys for Tots drop off location this holiday season. With its mission to provide toys for underprivileged children, Toys for Tots has distributed more than 512 million toys in its 70 years of existence. We are excited to be a part of this program and give back to our local community. Our goal this year is to collect at least 50 toys to donate to the Toys for Tots program.

Rising global economic activity, the exponential growth in data, coupled with increasing server density, has created an industry wide shortage in memory and SSDs. For months, memory manufacturers have lagged behind on market demand, resulting in increasing lead times and price hikes across all OEMs. Throughout 2017, many leading manufacturers including Cisco, Dell, HPE, and Lenovo have announced price increases multiple times. Across the board, manufacturer’s suggested retail prices (MSRP) for memory have nearly doubled. Moving into 2018, industry analysts expect further memory price increases as projections for demand doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
