We are happy to announce the addition of Evan Lagendyk to the ever-expanding Vista IT Group team! Evan joins us as a Warehouse Specialist where he will be helping in every aspect of operations including receiving, logistics, inventory management, and shipping. Before joining Vista, Evan worked as an installer for fire suppression systems but ultimately wanted something less physically demanding.
Vista’s four new hires, Trevor, Rogan, Cassie, and Clay have successfully graduated from our new and improved training boot camp. We have always been proud of our training programs, but we recently updated our content and milestones to be consistent with our ISO certifications.
Vista IT Group has been selected by the State of Michigan to be among a handful of companies to receive a grant from the Going PRO Talent Fund. Presented by West Michigan Works!, this grant is awarded to Michigan based growth-oriented companies who continuously invest in the training and development of their employees. Vista was among 200 companies awarded the Going PRO grant from West Michigan’s seven-county region.

Today, Vista IT Group announced Vanguard, a customizable service program featuring an a la’ carte approach to hardware maintenance and operational support. This new nationwide offering allows companies to consolidate data center support regardless of the equipment manufacturer, age, or origin.
Today, Vista IT Group announced that they achieved the ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management Systems issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Ivan Ewing joins Vista as a Technical Specialist where he will assist with integration services and technology builds. He graduated from Full Sail University with a B.S. in Digital Arts and Design in Florida and recently relocated back to Michigan to be closer to his family. In Ivan’s previous role, he worked on digital imaging systems for a medical device manufacturer. Ivan brings ten years of industry knowledge to Vista.

Zach Derks joins Vista as an Infrastructure Support Engineer. Zach will be responsible for supporting our world class internal IT infrastructure and is chartered with keeping Vista on the cutting edge of technology trends. Zach is from Fremont, Michigan and attended Grand Valley State University until he enlisted in the Air Force to proudly serve our country. He and his wife recently moved back to Michigan from St. Louis, Missouri and are happy to be back! Zach brings over six years of experience in the IT industry where he has held previous positions as a Cyber Systems Operation Manager and IT Manager.
